We, human beings, tend to seek company and comfort in our lives, and no one can deny that dogs have been the perfect companions for us, due to their intelligence and their loyalty. So to show our gratitude to these kind-hearted creatures/species, we dedicated an international dogs day which is celebrated on the 26th of August of each year.
On a serious note, dogs are not only friendly and loyal, but they can be a threat to humans as well due to their aggressive tendencies, it all depends on where and how they’ve been raised.
So here are 6 breeds of dogs, that can be dangerous and unpredictable, and any encounter with them demands a high level of calmness and awareness
1-the American pitbull :
It is highly known that the American pitbull is considered one of the most dangerous and unpredictable dogs to ever roam the earth, that’s the reason why it is banned by many countries around the world.
strength and confidence are what make the American pitbull stand out and differ from other breeds. On the other hand, Pitbulls are highly reliable when it comes to work, due to their high level of intelligence and adaptability during events.
German Shepards are not dangerous and make fine family pets. They are even tempered and faithful to their family. I know because I breed and owned German Shepards within a family and people who mistreat them are the only ones who need worry.
Pardon my butting in, BUT it is a Dachshund Dachs being German for badger, these little dogs were bred to hunt badgers and go into the sett after them, so whilst they may be small, they are very determined. I disagree with most of the assertions that XXXX breed dog is dangerous, any dog can be dangerous if they are not trained and socialised.
Notice he says nothing about where he gets his information. If Matthias listed sources he would sound somewhat more credible. You can see by the list he did not do his research. A Siberian Husky, really? Matthias, what documentation do you have to back that up? Who or what are your sources? No sources or documentation then the list is a farce.
There are no bad dogs only bad owners who don’t train, correct, make the dog PART of their pack ( not letting it lead ) and show it love. I’ve only had rescue dogs one of which was a Doberman aged 2.5. She was my life for 10 yrs and only once bared her teeth at one person trying to put something inside my front door when my back was turned. You don’t come in uninvited!! 13 when she died so that was one vicious dog WHATEVER. ONLY WHEN NEEDED!
I beg to differ against the 6 dangerous dogs as every dog has unpredictable ways and every dog can be classed as dangerous as they are all protective of there adopted families as dogs are a pack animal, I my opinion there are no dangerous dogs just dangerous owneres
Any animal can be dangerous.
This list is ridiculous victamising breeds! Far more people are bitten by collies, Jack Russell’s etc. There’s more bad owners than there are bad dogs.A well trained dog raised by knowledgeable people would give up it’s life to protect it’s pack!
I am SICK and tired of rampant misinformation. Especially pertaining to Pitbulls!!!!!! There are NO DANGEROUS DOGS. Just ignorant, stupid owners who don’t know how to train dogs!!
Pit bulls are one of the sweetest and most loyal dog breed. Shame on You Matthias!! Your LAZY journalism is a lot more DANGEROUS than a Pit bull
You have no idea what you’re talking about! Pit bulls are the sweetest dogs in the world. My pit bull loved people and never even growled at anyone. I lost him a few months ago and I would have given my life if it would have saved him. Shame on you you idiot!!!
lol, you consider those the most dangerous breeds in the world, i see nothing but big love a mugs, please do more research before you write these types of articles, let me name a few with the potential to be far more lethal in the wrong hands, Tosa Ken (Japan), Cane Corso, Presa Canario, Caucasian shepherd dog and lets not forget the Dogo Argentino but in my opinion any breed of dog can be big love a mugs in the RIGHT hands or Lethal weapons in the WRONG hands.
shepherd with an E might work Jacky love!!!! Top of the pops has to be a spotted hyena which has one of the strongest jaws known,it’s a dog and when they lunge at prey they are actually eating the prey alive bit by bit, there cannot be another dog on the planet which could take this animal down one on one,and o o o calm down Trev lad calm down
This article was written after a lot of research and studies. Sources are not mentioned in the article. But you can search on google and make sure that this information is correct in many sources.
What a load of rubbish – Siberian huskies were bred to be the opposite of your description. Working in groups and keeping their owners warm in Arctic temperatures. You would know that if you’d done even a small amount of research!

dude your research is a lot of crap none of the dogs on this list are dangerous. dumb people raise dumb animals. all animals attack when provoked, pitbulls have it the worst i’ve raise about 100 of them and not one have ever attacked a person. so stop using google to do research and your sources are dumb-asses.
no such thing as a dangerous dog, only dangerous dog owners. Dogs behave how they are taught.
I have have had a German Shepherd. Who was a gem, and have just said good bye to a 13 year old American bull dog, and you can ask anyone what a sweet dog she was good family dog, but good guard dog, which is what people have dogs for. I think people should have to have a test before they are allowed to have a dog.
I had a cross breed ( pitbull. Bullmastiff, Rhodesian ridgeback.)I bought him to save him becoming a fighting dog (what he was bred for)(horrible). TAZ was the most gentle intelligent dog I had ever owned. He practically saved my life from a house fire when he woke me up by pulling at my arm when the house was in flames. And the only person he ever showed aggression too was a man that turned out to be a wrong un. It turned out that man was interfering with a little girl that was in the same room when that horrible person entered. Taz must have picked up the gear from the little girl. So protective and intelligent. Best dog ever.
